Kristina McClure



Kristina McClure is an attorney at R&D and member of the litigation team. Kristina provides concierge litigation services to both businesses and individuals. Kristina’s clients include small to large domestic businesses, real estate developers and investors, and individuals. Kristina provides firm, reasoned representation with an emphasis in business, construction, real estate, and landlord/tenant litigation. Kristina also represents clients in breach of contract, employment disputes, business torts, and trade name and service mark infringement matters.

Prior to joining R&D, Kristina worked at a boutique law firm dealing primarily with domestic relations and breach of contract claims. Previously Kristina also clerked for the City of Chicago Department of Law, representing the Department of Streets and Sanitation and Department of Buildings in municipal code disputes in the Department of Administrative Hearings, and the Illinois Tenants Union, representing tenants in landlord-tenant litigation.

Kristina tailors her litigation decisions on a case-by-case basis to satisfy unique client needs without draining their bank accounts. She keeps her clients and their litigation focused on the end result, avoiding frivolous and expensive motion practice that fails to bring her client closer to achieving their goals.

Kristina was born in Germany, grew up on various military installations, and has lived in 17 states and 2 foreign countries. In 2008, she put down roots in Chicago got hitched to her wife Jennifer. In her free time, Kristina enjoys serving as a volunteer debate judge, camping, fishing, kayaking, and cooking.

Kristina received a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School where she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program. Kristina received a M.A. from Suffolk University in Communication, with a focus in Organizational Communication, while holding a graduate fellowship as the Assistant Speech & Debate Coach. She also holds a B.S. in Applied Economics with Honors from Plymouth State University.
